The Haramain Express Train transports more than 818,000 passengers during the month of Ramadan

Saudi Railways (SAR) announced the success of its announced operational plan for the month of Ramadan 1444 AH, as the number of passengers on the Haramain Express train reached more than 818 thousand passengers, an increase of 265% compared to the same period last year.
The number of flights operated reached more than 2,540 flights, with the number of daily flights operated during the Holy Month exceeding 115 flights, with a commitment rate to flight arrival times exceeding 97%.
The Saudi Railways announced that it would increase the capacity of the Two Holy Mosques Express Train during the holy month of Ramadan, and increase the number of its daily trips at a gradually increasing pace, reaching more than 100 trips per day, and making it available for more than a million seats to move between the 5 stations of the Two Holy Mosques Express Train, which contributed to providing... Wider options for travelers to move comfortably and choose the times that suit them.
The Director General of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Saudi Railways, Muhammad bin Moaz Hamid Al-Din, explained that the implementation of the operational plan for the Haramain Express Train for the month of Ramadan 1444 AH was carried out according to an approved mechanism in coordination with the Saudi-Spanish Railway Project Company, operator of the Haramain Express Train, and the relevant government agencies, with direct follow-up by His Excellency. Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, with an integrated action plan aimed at facilitating the pilgrims’ journeys to and from the Two Holy Mosques in all safety, ease and comfort.
