The International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization in Makkah’s Clock Towers has emerged as a distinguished cultural and spiritual destination for visitors to the Grand Mosque, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.
Welcoming Umrah performers from across the globe, the museum offers an immersive spiritual journey through the life of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, presented through advanced global digital technologies.
Operating under the supervision of the Muslim World League, the museum stands as a civilizational landmark dedicated to introducing visitors to the Prophet’s noble character, great manners, and exemplary morals. It blends the authenticity of Islamic heritage with the tools of modern innovation, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030’s goal of enriching the religious and cultural experience of Umrah performers and visitors.
During a tour lasting about 60 minutes, visitors travel through time using hologram technology, augmented reality, and three-dimensional displays.
The museum features more than 200 visual and interactive exhibits presented in six international languages. These displays guide visitors through key milestones of the Prophet’s biography, from his birth and early life to the Hijrah. They also showcase the Prophet’s chamber using a detailed panoramic simulation recreated with striking realism.
Museum halls also include meticulously crafted scientific models, including representations of the most revered pulpit in Islamic history, alongside contemporary atlases illustrating Makkah and Madinah during the Prophet’s era. Specialized sections explore every dimension of his life, from his physical description and personal character to his clothing, diet, and the remedies he used, as well as glimpses into the lives of other prophets, peace be upon them.
