The third edition of the Hajj Media Hub opened on Wednesday at the Makkah Chamber Exhibitions and Events Center, providing a fully integrated media environment aimed at supporting coverage of the Hajj season.
The hub is organized by the Hajj Media Operations Center at the Ministry of Media, in cooperation with the Grand Hajj Symposium. It runs until Dhu Al-Hijjah 6 (May 23), in partnership with more than 30 government and private entities.
The hub has welcomed media professionals and other interested attendees in an integrated media environment designed to support coverage of the Hajj season through interactive technologies and dedicated media zones. It encompasses a press briefing platform and an innovation exhibition highlighting the transformation in services provided to pilgrims.
In partnership with the King Abdulaziz Foundation (Darah), the event features several interactive zones, including the “Hajj Window,” which offers visitors a visual experience reflecting Hajj spirituality. Meanwhile, the hub’s “Transformation Exhibition” showcases major development projects serving pilgrims through innovative visual displays and pavilions for government and private sector entities.
The hub also includes fully equipped media studios, as well as a “media community” space designed to provide a shared workspace, foster networking, and facilitate knowledge exchange among journalists.
