Dr. Al-Sudais: More than 100 million worshipers were directed to enter and exit the Grand Mosque from the beginning of 1444 until now.

His Excellency the General President of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Sudais, revealed that the census statistics from the beginning of the year 1444 until now amounted to more than 100 million worshipers entering and exiting the Grand Mosque repeatedly, and the number of people who were enabled to pray reached With Ismail stone 1,193,000 since the beginning of the year.
During his participation in the second session of the Twenty-Second Scientific Forum for Hajj, Umrah and Visitation Research, which is organized by Umm Al-Qura University, represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj Research, he stated that regarding transportation services by vehicles, more than 1,500,000 guests were served during one year, and in the Prophet’s Mosque and within the project Improving the experience of the elderly and people with disabilities, and in partnership with the General Authority of Endowments and the Pilgrims of God Service Programme, more than 50 electric vehicles were launched to transport the elderly and people with special needs.
His Excellency indicated that the Presidency is targeting, during the fiscal year 2023, a number of projects to develop these services, strengthen the partnership by increasing volunteers in the Two Holy Mosques, enable the vehicle service seeker to pre-order electronically before arriving at the Grand Mosque, and provide the (Tawaf) service electronically through the General Administration of Tawaf. Pointing out that the number of electronic services provided by the Presidency is 62 electronic services, and during the pandemic and under generous guidance, it launched the Minaret of the Two Holy Mosques platform, to transmit sermons, lessons and recitations of the Two Holy Mosques, and the number of beneficiaries of this platform in various parts of the world during the past year reached more than 300,000,000 beneficiaries thanks to God Almighty.
He stated that the presidency seeks - God willing - to complete the Smart Campus project, which will initially include 48 systems and services, including 29 systems within the facilities management system, and 19 services within the beneficiary services system, the most important of which are: the unified communications system, the smart facilities management system, and the alarm management system. Cases, crowd management system, etc.
