The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), represented by the National Platform for Charitable Work (Ihsan) and the Guests of God Service Program - one of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 programs - signed a memorandum of understanding yesterday, Sunday, within the paths of the National Charitable Work Campaign in its fourth edition, in response to the initiative of the private sector and non-profit institutions. For partnership and contribution to providing services and developing the journey of the pilgrims.
The outcomes of the memorandum aim to enhance cooperation between the “Ihsan” platform and the Guests of God Service Program to support and develop joint projects and initiatives between them, in a way that maximizes charitable work efforts in the Kingdom and enriches the non-profit sector by empowering partner NGOs and studying their projects that benefit pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims who go to the House of God during their trips. ; By applying the governance standards and regulations approved by the “Ehsan” platform.
The memorandum was signed by the CEO of the “Ehsan” platform, Engineer Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Husseini, and the CEO of the Guests of God Service Program, Engineer Muhammad Abu Al-Khair Ismail.
Through this memorandum, the two parties look forward to organizing a package of national charitable initiatives to make the most of improving the efficiency of charitable work, enhancing the values of national belonging, humanitarian work and social responsibility among members of society and its institutions, enhancing reliability, transparency and ease in providing donations and contributing to organizing and spreading the culture of development work among individuals and institutions of society. And confirming the global leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in this field.
