The Qiblatain Mosque in Madinah, a cornerstone of Islamic history where the Qibla was changed to the Kaaba in 2 AH (624 CE), is undergoing a comprehensive expansion to accommodate 3,000 worshippers.
Located five kilometers west of the Prophet's Mosque, this landmark sees a surge of visitors during Ramadan seeking to connect with its prophetic legacy. The current development project introduces a cultural center, pedestrian plazas, and advanced accessibility features, including elevators and escalators.
To enhance the visitor experience, the mosque’s northeastern courtyards have been equipped with cooling fans and sunshades, ensuring a comfortable environment for the growing number of pilgrims and visitors year-round.
