“NSK” and the “General Authority of Endowments” sign a cooperation agreement to implement the Hajj smart cards project

The Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition “Hajj Expo”, in Jeddah today, witnessed the signing of a joint cooperation agreement between the Nusk Charitable Foundation for Hajj and Umrah, affiliated with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, with the General Authority of Endowments with the aim of contributing to supporting and enhancing the impact of the programs provided to pilgrims and Umrah performers in a way that raises the quality of services. It helps in enriching their religious experience to perform their rituals with peace of mind and ease.
The agreement was signed by the Ministry, His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Vice President of the Association, Dr. Abdel Fattah bin Suleiman Mashat, and by the Authority, its Governor, Imad bin Saleh Al-Kharashi, with the aim of achieving the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030 programs, by facilitating the arrival of pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims to Mecca and Medina, and creating... Electronic solutions and options that contribute to facilitating their procedures.
The agreement includes the implementation of the Hajj smart card application and card project aimed at improving the experience of the pilgrims. It is a free, smart, secure, contactless card that includes all the personal, residential and health information of its holder linked to the Hajj application, and the formation of a joint work team to develop a comprehensive executive plan to implement the project and its requirements, according to the plan. For his part, Dr. Mashat stressed the importance of the agreement as it achieves the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, by enhancing the experience of the guests of God and facilitating their journey using digital solutions and automation of services, within the framework of the continuous interest and support of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince - may God protect them.
