08 Mar 2023

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the availability of Umrah permits for the holy month of Ramadan for the year 1444 AH, through the “NUSUK” application, for citizens and residents from inside the Kingdom and for Umrah pilgrims coming from outside the Kingdom.
She explained that Umrah pilgrims from home and abroad can view the Umrah dates available in Ramadan, according to capacity, through the “NUSUK” application, which can be easily downloaded through the “Apple Store” or “Google Play” stores, and then choose what suits them and obtain the permit. Emphasizing that permits for those arriving from abroad require the presence of a valid visa at the time of creating the reservation.
The Ministry noted, out of concern for the safety of pilgrims; Citizens and residents can also obtain permits through the “Tawakkalna” application, provided that the applicant’s health condition in all cases is not infected with an active infection with the Coronavirus (Covid-19) and has not been in contact with an infected person.
The Ministry urged those wishing to perform Umrah during Ramadan to take the initiative to obtain permits and adhere to the specified date. Contributing to distributing the capacity and reducing congestion during the blessed month, indicating that the beneficiary can perform Umrah rituals once during the blessed month of Ramadan.
These facilities come from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ constant concern for the comfort and safety of visitors to the Holy House of God, and its interest in regularly performing Umrah and making it available to the largest number of Muslims.
