The Royal Commission for the City of Makkah Al-Mukarramah develops Al-Masial Road in Makkah Al-Mukarramah for pedestrian service to the Grand Mosque

The Royal Commission for the City of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the Holy Sites, in cooperation with the Municipality of the Holy Capital, began the work of a project to develop, improve, and raise the efficiency of Al-Masiyal Street in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, by implementing a pedestrian road in accordance with the highest technical and engineering specifications, and within the development projects that aim to enhance safety work and modernize the road network. And prepare it to suit the density witnessed in the central area.
The Royal Commission for the City of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the Holy Sites and the Capital Municipality, represented by the Beautification and Humanization Department, have begun implementing the project work, which is expected to be completed within a month.
It is noteworthy that Al-Masial Street is a major artery that connects many neighborhoods to the Al-Masfalah area, and it is one of the important and vital roads because it leads to the Grand Mosque. The project, upon its completion, God willing, will provide a great service to visitors and pilgrims so that they can reach the Holy House of God with ease, while providing suitable places for prayer. It attracts visitors and pilgrims throughout the year, especially during the Hajj and Umrah seasons, given the high density in those seasons. The project will also contribute to improving the urban landscape in the central region.
The total area of ​​the project is about (6,000) square meters, which will be covered with artificial granite, and the length of Al-Mesial Street, which will be implemented, is (171) linear meters. Many trees, smart lighting units and poles, speakers, floor lighting, and other decorations will be installed that will give the area more... It has aesthetic appearances and is designed according to the best engineering models that increase the degree of benefit from it while preserving its aesthetic appearance.
It is noteworthy that the Secretariat of the Holy Capital, under the supervision of the Royal Commission for the Holy City of Mecca and the Holy Sites, seeks to provide the best services and expand the establishment of more development projects that contribute to providing all means of comfort and reassurance to the people of Umm Al-Qura and the pilgrims of the Holy House of God, so that they can enjoy spending their time in the Holy Lands in Ease and reassurance.
