The Ministry of Information keeps pace with the Hajj season by launching the virtual media center

The Ministry of Information launched the Virtual Media Center “VPC” for the Hajj season 1444 AH, which aims to support the integration of media efforts in Hajj, produce, provide and broadcast content, and facilitate the tasks of covering Hajj for media professionals from all over the world.
The virtual media center works as an electronic platform through which virtual media services are provided to government agencies and media outlets that participate in covering the Hajj season, by uploading high-quality news materials, photos and videos, for the benefit of about 900 media professionals registered on the platform, representing a number of agencies. International and local news, newspapers, and channels.
The center enables journalists to participate virtually in the press conferences accompanying the Hajj season, which are broadcast live in several languages, where.
Any journalist registered with the center can also request any media service, such as conducting an interview with an official, inquiring about any media topic, or requesting data, information and statistics related to Hajj work.
The launch of the virtual center coincides with the start of the work of the Media Operations Room in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, which includes a number of different and specialized work teams, representing the Ministry of Information system and other government agencies.
The Media Operations Room had begun its work by launching the unified visual and verbal Hajj media identity for this year’s Hajj season 1444 AH, under the slogan “In Peace and Security,” and making it available for use by all governmental and private agencies participating in Hajj work, which can be downloaded through the following link: vpc.media. .gov.sa .
