The General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has completed the work of installing the crescent of the minaret of the Bab al-Fath minaret in the Grand Mosque, which is the thirteenth and last crescent to be installed on the minarets of the Grand Mosque.
The height of the crescent - whose internal structure is made of an iron structure aimed at maintaining its durability - is approximately 9 meters, with a base two meters wide. It is made of carbon fiber, which is distinguished by its high durability, and it has been painted in a golden color to give it a beautiful appearance.
