The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah organizes the “Umrah and Visitation Forum” in its first edition in Medina next Shawwal.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in partnership with the Guests of God Service Program, is organizing the “Umrah and Visitation Forum” in its first edition, during the period 13-15 Shawwal 1445 AH, corresponding to April 22-24, 2024 AD, at the King Salman International Convention Center in Medina.
The forum comes as a continuation of its successes in holding a number of forums aimed at improving the service of the guests of God. Under the patronage and honor of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of the Medina region.
In light of the number of Umrah pilgrims reaching a historic number of 13.55 million Umrah pilgrims during the past year 2023 AD; The forum represents an opportunity to communicate and exchange experiences, as it includes dialogue sessions, panel discussions and workshops, in addition to an accompanying exhibition that showcases the latest services provided and innovative and sustainable solutions that ensure continuous development and improvement. The forum also discusses challenges, opportunities and emerging trends in the sector, and provides insights and recommendations to improve the experience of pilgrims and visitors and facilitate hosting visitors to the Two Holy Mosques.
The forum is a comprehensive business platform that brings together establishments operating in the Umrah and visit sector, local and international, and aims to enhance dialogue and creativity to enrich the experience and advance the Umrah and visit trip, in addition to developing the services and products provided to the pilgrim and visitor, stimulating partnerships and building sustainable relationships between establishments operating in the Umrah and visit sector. In addition to expanding local and international networks to work in providing integrated solutions for pilgrims and visitors.
The forum - which is being held for the first time - will receive the participation of many entities, companies and institutions in the fields related to the Umrah and visiting sector, such as: government agencies, Umrah companies and agencies, hotels and housing, transportation and logistics services, health care, technology, communications, artificial intelligence, construction and development, and tourism and travel agents. Consumer goods, banks, insurance companies, catering and subsistence. The forum also targets the attendance of entrepreneurs, innovators, heads of service provider companies, experts, professionals, decision-makers, workers in the Umrah system, non-profit institutions, representatives of local and international Umrah service companies, and local and international media institutions.
Over the course of its three days, the forum will work to highlight the exceptional efforts and projects made by the Kingdom to provide comfort to pilgrims and visitors, enrich and improve their experience in visiting the Kingdom from various parts of the world, review the best administrative and operational practices, and adopt development solutions that will contribute to sustainably raising the quality levels of services provided in the Kingdom. The number of pilgrims and visitors continues to grow. By providing innovative products and exploring promising opportunities in this sector. In addition to launching many new initiatives and facilities, which are enabled by Saudi Vision 2030.
