The Minister of Hajj and Umrah begins a visit to the Republic of Indonesia

Today, His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, began a visit to the Republic of Indonesia, aiming to discuss ways of coordination to raise the level of services provided to the Indonesian pilgrims, and raise the efficiency of the services provided to them, through joint coordination between the relevant authorities in the two countries.
His Excellency will hold meetings and consultations with officials in the Republic of Indonesia and heads of Umrah companies, and inform them of the facilities that guarantee an easy trip to Mecca and Medina. He will also review the most important initiatives to enrich the trip, such as visiting historical and enrichment sites, and the role of digital transformation in facilitating the Hajj and Umrah journey, as will be witnessed. The visit opened the exhibition of the “Nask” platform to introduce the role of the platform in serving the guests of God.
His Excellency is accompanied by a high-level delegation, from the leaders of the Ministry, the Hajj and Umrah system, the Guests of God Service Program, and a number of heads of Umrah companies, representing the private sector. With the aim of developing the level of partnerships and cooperation and ensuring the facilitation of procedures for the arrival of Indonesian pilgrims and enriching their experience.
This visit to the Republic of Indonesia comes as an extension of His Excellency’s international communication tours, which aim to introduce the most prominent positive transformations in serving the guests of God, and the initiatives presented by the Kingdom’s government to facilitate the arrival of pilgrims from all over the world to the Two Holy Mosques, enabled by Vision 2030.
