Minister of Hajj and Umrah: Lifting all restrictions to facilitate the arrival of pilgrims from Egypt

His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, announced the cancellation of all health conditions and restrictions for Egyptian pilgrims, under the generous guidance of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him - within the framework of the facilities provided by the Kingdom to facilitate the arrival to perform Umrah and prayer. This came during a press conference held by His Excellency today at the headquarters of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Cairo, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Egypt, Osama bin Ahmed Naqli, and a number of officials from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the embassy.
During the conference, His Excellency expressed his thanks and appreciation for the warm welcome and reception he and the accompanying delegation received, noting the distinguished fraternal and historical relations between the two brotherly countries, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Highness the Crown Prince, and their brother, His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi. The Minister of Hajj and Umrah touched on the development of electronic services provided by the “Nusuk” platform (nusuk.sa) to facilitate obtaining Umrah and visit visas around the clock, and booking all services (transportation, housing, and other services) through smart devices. To facilitate access to the Two Holy Mosques, including automating all travel procedures and reservations for services.

Dr. Al-Rabiah spoke about the rapid developments witnessed by the Two Holy Mosques and the Holy Sites in infrastructure and organisation. To prepare to receive the expected increases in the number of Umrah pilgrims and visitors, and to provide the best facilities and finest services to the guests of the Holy House of God, and the qualitative shift witnessed by the Hajj and Umrah system in partnership with all government agencies, and service providers from the private sector in the two countries through digital transformation, and creating a package of diverse options and solutions. To enable the largest number of Muslims to perform Umrah in the easiest and lowest cost ways.
