His Highness the Prince of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region launches the Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition “Hajj Expo”

His Royal Highness Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, and His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Medina Region, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the King Faisal Center for Research and Studies Islamic Affairs in Jeddah today, the Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition “Hajj Expo” 2023, in its second edition, with the participation of 81 speakers from the public and private sectors from inside and outside the Kingdom, and the participation of high-level delegations from Their Excellencies the Ministers of Religious Affairs, heads of Hajj missions and higher bodies from more than From 57 countries.
His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, delivered a speech in which he welcomed Their Highnesses, Excellencies, experts, specialists, and those interested in Hajj and Umrah affairs, stressing that serving the guests of God from all countries of the world is a top priority, an authentic historical commitment, and a great honor of which the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is proud - may he preserve it. God - to perform their rituals with peace of mind and ease within a rich journey of faith with digitized services.
His Excellency said: “I bring you two pieces of good news in this meeting: the first: the number of pilgrims will return to what they were before the pandemic without any restrictions on age, and the second: allowing any Hajj delegation from anywhere in the world to deal with any licensed company that fulfills the requirements needed by the pilgrims of that country.” Countries, with the aim of competitiveness and improving the quality of services provided to the guests of God, in addition to reducing the cost of insurance for pilgrims from 235 riyals to 88 riyals, by 63%, and it will begin to work from tomorrow, God Almighty willing, as well as reducing the cost of insurance for pilgrims from 109 riyals. to 29 riyals, a rate of 73%. Pointing out that anyone coming to the Kingdom with an Umrah visa can visit any city in the Kingdom, as well as any visitor to the Kingdom who is available to perform Umrah at any time.
Al-Rabiah stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to improve and develop all services and solutions provided to pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims through developing systems and legislation in the Hajj and Umrah system, drawing attention to bringing together the authorities supervising the affairs of pilgrims and Umrah in countries of the Islamic world, and early signing of Hajj agreements; Evidence of our keenness and continuous work to provide the best services to pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims with ease and ease, in partnership with the concerned authorities from 70 entities.

After that, Their Highnesses the Emirs of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Medina regions launched the “Made in Makkah and Medina” initiative.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Highness Prince Khaled Al-Faisal honored the sponsors and success partners, and then memorial photos of His Highness were taken with the participating delegations of ministers and heads of missions.
His Highness the Emir of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region and His Highness the Emir of the Medina Region toured the “Hajj Expo” exhibition, accompanied by His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, and a number of officials from inside and outside the Kingdom.
