Flynas launches its new operations center in Medina with 6 international and domestic destinations for the first phase

Flynas, the national air carrier, celebrated the launch of its latest operations center at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina today, by launching six new destinations and routes from Medina, including four international destinations to Dubai, Amman, Istanbul, and Ankara, and two domestic destinations to Abha and Tabuk, which will be operated. In addition to the four current destinations from Medina to Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Cairo, the new operations center at Medina Airport will serve 10 flynas destinations as a first stage.
With the launch of the Medina Operations Center, Flynas has become the national air carrier that owns four operations centers in the Kingdom, in line with its plans for growth and expansion, the objectives of the Pilgrims Service Program and the National Civil Aviation Strategy to increase the number of international destinations connected to the Kingdom to 250 destinations, as well as reaching 330 million. travelers and attract 100 million tourists annually by 2030.
Bandar Al-Muhanna, CEO and Managing Director of Flynas, confirmed that the inauguration of the new operations center at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport comes in response to the increasing demand from travelers to Medina, especially from pilgrims and Umrah performers from abroad, and the preferences of travelers within the Kingdom, indicating that there are more Among the international and domestic destinations and itineraries that will be announced in the next stage.
He said: “The operation of 10 destinations from the new operations center in the first phase reflects the doubling of flynas’ operational capacity as a result of increasing the size of its fleet, in less than two years, by more than 100%, which is consistent with the growth and expansion plan that was launched early last year under the slogan “Connecting the World.” In the Kingdom, one of its most prominent features is the signing of an agreement with Airbus to purchase 30 new A320neo aircraft last June as part of an order for 120 Airbus aircraft and the approval to increase new aircraft orders to 250 aircraft.
Flynas connects more than 70 domestic and international destinations with more than 1,500 weekly flights, and has transported more than 60 million passengers since its launch in 2007, and aims to reach 165 domestic and international destinations, in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
