The Hajj and Visitation Committee’s statistics on the movement of reception and departure of pilgrims in Medina revealed that the number of pilgrims who have arrived in Medina to date has reached
531,243 pilgrims of several nationalities, who came through air and land ports.
The statistics showed that the total arrival today amounted to 27,808 pilgrims, of whom 22,775 pilgrims arrived via Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina via 92 flights, while the Immigration Center received 58 flights carrying 2,276 pilgrims, and the Land Pilgrims Center received 92 flights carrying 2,757 pilgrims.
Regarding departures, the statistics showed that the number of pilgrims departing today on their way to the holy sites in Mecca reached 378,698 pilgrims, while the number of pilgrims remaining in Medina to date reached 152,500 pilgrims of different nationalities, and the housing occupancy rate in Medina reached 51%, while people benefited from Medical services provided to pilgrims of the Holy House of God, 21,891 pilgrims.
