Among these projects is the project of the northern part of the Third Ring Road, with a length of 7.5 km, linking Medina Road to the Holy Sites (in the Jamarat area), and consisting of 3 main lanes with a speed of up to 100 km/h.
It included two service lanes for each direction, a number of regular entrances and exits linking neighboring neighborhoods, 8 bridges and ramps with a total length of 2.2 kilometers, and the road was provided with lighting and directional and traffic signs.

In addition to operating a number of axes and intersections on the Second Ring Road, namely Jurhum Intersection, Al-Tandbawi Intersection, and the main road from Al-Biban Intersection.

The importance of inaugurating the axes

The importance of inaugurating the axes, intersections and lanes of the ring roads before the holy month of Ramadan is highlighted, as they contribute to facilitating the traffic of pilgrims, residents and visitors, facilitating the traffic of vehicles, and reducing the travel time to and from the holy sites in the Third Ring Road by up to 70%.
It also works to reduce carbon emissions, improve the urban landscape, and raise the efficiency of infrastructure services for neighborhoods adjacent to the project.

Improving the quality of services

The CEO of the Royal Commission for the City of Makkah, Eng.
