The 2024 Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition, which was opened by Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, on Monday, witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the Pilgrims of God Service Program with the General Authority of Endowments, to finance the study and operation of a center specialized in raising awareness of Pilgrims of God, This was in the presence of the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Chairman of the Program Committee for Serving the Guests of God, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah.
In details, the agreement was signed by the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdel Fattah bin Suleiman Mashat, the Governor of the General Authority of Endowments, Imad bin Saleh Al-Kharashi, and the CEO of the Guests of God Service Program, Muhammad Abu Al-Khair Ismail.
The center aims to focus efforts on raising the awareness of pilgrims, Umrah pilgrims and visitors from various regions of the world about the services provided by government agencies and the private and non-profit sectors to facilitate the journey of the guests of God so that they can enjoy performing the rituals with ease and reassurance, by providing various awareness materials in multiple languages and through guidance channels that reach those wishing to perform Hajj and Umrah in everywhere.
The agreement includes developing ways of cooperation in participating in conferences and exhibitions organized by one of the parties, in addition to maximizing the benefits of exchanging data, information and studies.
