Today, in Medina, the first edition of the “Umrah and Visitation Forum,” organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in partnership with the Pilgrims of God Service Programme, was concluded at the King Salman International Convention Center in Medina.
The forum, which lasted for three days and constituted a comprehensive business platform that brought together establishments operating in the Umrah sector and local and international visits, witnessed dialogue sessions, panel discussions and workshops, in addition to an accompanying exhibition in which the latest services provided and innovative and sustainable solutions that ensure continuous development and improvement were reviewed.
The forum, which aimed to enhance dialogue and creativity to enrich the experience and advance the Umrah journey and visit, discussed the challenges, opportunities and emerging trends in the sector, to improve the experience of pilgrims and visitors, facilitate hosting those visiting the Two Holy Mosques, develop the services and products provided to pilgrims and visitors, stimulate partnerships and build sustainable relationships between establishments operating in the Umrah sector. And the visit, as well as expanding local and international networks to work in providing integrated solutions for pilgrims and visitors.
Many entities, companies and institutions in the fields related to the Umrah and visiting sector participated in the forum, in addition to the presence of entrepreneurs and innovators, heads of service provider companies, experts, professionals, decision-makers, workers in the Umrah system, non-profit institutions, representatives of local and international Umrah service companies, and media institutions. Local and international.
It is noteworthy that the “Umrah and Visit Forum” witnessed the holding of 6 dialogue sessions and 24 workshops covering 6 main topics, in addition to 18 sub-contents with the participation of 29 expert and specialist speakers. It also included a number of competitive events and competitions, including the Artificial Intelligence in Umrah competition, the Labitum Award, the development of digital solutions, and a hackathon.
