بUnder the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Information, Mr. Salman bin Youssef Al-Dosari; Today, His Excellency the Assistant Minister of Information, Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Maghlouth, honored the winning teams in the “Hajj and Umrah Mediathon” for the year 2024 AD, during the ceremony announcing the winners at the King Fahd National Library in Riyadh, which was held in partnership with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, and the Guests of God Service Program.
The ceremony was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Khaled bin Talal bin Badr, Secretary-General of the King Fahd National Library, a number of newspaper editors, directors of media institutions, leaders of the media system, and a number of interested people and specialists.
This year, the race witnessed the number of registered teams reaching more than 1,300 teams from various regions of the Kingdom, of which 30 teams qualified to participate, competing in 3 tracks: creative content creation, languages and translation, and media services and facilities.
Three teams won the award for the first track, “Media Content Creation,” namely, “Shaab Platform,” “Mashaer AI,” and “Hajj Platform,” while the teams for the second track, “Languages and Translation,” won the “Sahafi Al-Hajj” and “Lancol” teams. And “PALMI”, and the third track award “Media Services and Facilities” was won by the teams “Maad”, “Rushes Dock”, and “Khandama”.
His Excellency the Assistant Minister of Information honored the partners of the Hajj and Umrah Mediathon, the two main partners.
