Makkah Region Deputy Governor Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz affirmed that since the founding of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman up to the era of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, it has given special attention to serving the holy sites and their visitors, placing them at the top of its priorities.

He noted that all available resources have been devoted to the development and care of the holy sites, extending beyond major expansions and projects to include even the smallest details that ensure visitors can worship safely, peacefully, and comfortably.
