The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque announced that the average time for performing Umrah during the month of Jumada Al-Thani 1447 reached 117 minutes, with 94% of pilgrims performing Tawaf in the Mataf area and 64% completing Sa’i on the ground floor.

The authority explained that the average time for Tawaf during the same month was 46 minutes, while Sa’i took approximately 51 minutes. Movement from the mosque courtyards to the Mataf area required an average of 10 minutes, with a similar duration for moving from the Mataf to the Sa’i area.

The authority emphasized its ongoing commitment to closely monitoring and managing the movement of pilgrims within the Grand Mosque and its facilities, ensuring they perform their rituals with ease, comfort, and tranquility, in line with the directives of the Kingdom’s wise leadership.
