Governor of Madinah Region and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Madinah Region Development Authority Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz opened the "Hijrah: In the Footsteps of the Prophet" exhibition at a venue near Quba Mosque.
 The exhibition traces the Prophet’s Hijrah through 14 interactive stations, designed with input from local and international experts and researchers. It presents documented content in a modern narrative that blends historical documentation with an interactive experience.
 It highlights the journey’s human and civilizational values and its lessons in planning, resilience and community-building. The migration covered about 400 kilometers over eight days and had a major impact on the Arabian Peninsula’s social, political and economic landscape.
 It includes 53 artworks and a documentary film first shown at the Islamic Arts Biennale in 2023. The exhibition also features the book "Hijrah: In the Footsteps of the Prophet" in Arabic and English, as well as a virtual reality experience. This vision is to present the Hijrah story through multiple knowledge-based media.
