24 Feb 2026

The Grand Mosque received more than 904,000 Umrah performers on Saturday, the fourth day of Ramadan, reflecting a remarkable display of devotion during the early days of the blessed month.

As pilgrims streamed in from across the Kingdom and beyond, a comprehensive system of services ensured smooth movement and comfort for all visitors.

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque maintains continuous operational and organizational efforts around the clock. These integrated plans cover crowd management, the organization of Tawaf and Sa’i routes, intensified cleaning and sterilization, and multilingual guidance and awareness services, all aimed at facilitating the rituals with ease and tranquility.

The authority said the recorded numbers highlight the scale of efforts to deploy all human and technical resources in the service of Umrah performers, adhering to the highest standards of quality and operational efficiency, with carefully designed crowd management plans to ensure safety and smooth flow across all areas of the Grand Mosque.

Efforts are fully coordinated with the relevant authorities to ensure a comprehensive spiritual experience, with preparations continually reinforced in anticipation of the surge of pilgrims during the final ten days of Ramadan, the authority affirmed.

These efforts are part of the Kingdom’s enduring mission to serve the two holy mosques and their visitors, providing a safe and well-prepared environment that enables worshippers to perform their rituals in a serene and secure atmosphere.
