19 Mar 2026

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah reported that more than 1.68 million pilgrims arrived from outside the Kingdom during Ramadan, driven by services and facilitation measures that streamlined the performance of rituals, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

Bookings for prayer at Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah exceeded 1.1 million, with visitors from 155 nationalities, reflecting expanded use of digital services, improved access, and more efficient visit management.

The 30 Nusuk Care centers in Makkah, Madinah, and Jeddah provided more than 153,000 services in 11 languages, including guidance and on-ground support for pilgrims. Meanwhile, the Pilgrims Care Center (1966) handled more than 19,700 inquiries and reports, with a response rate exceeding 93.3%.

The Monitoring and Control Center provided more than 80 dashboards used by over 200 entities to track services, analyze performance, and support decision-making. Inspection teams also conducted more than 21,500 field visits during Ramadan to ensure compliance with regulations and enhance service quality.

The ministry added that these efforts align with directives to care for pilgrims and aim to deliver an integrated experience that enhances their comfort and safety while meeting their expectations throughout their spiritual journey.
