Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfig Al-Rabiah, during his visit to Jadidat Arar border crossing in Arar Governorate, Northern Borders Region, checked on the ongoing preparations to receive pilgrims arriving to perform Hajj rituals for 1447 AH.

He expressed his appreciation to Governor of Northern Borders Region Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz for his follow-up and attention to enhancing the readiness of border crossings in the region to receive pilgrims. He praised the integration of efforts by all government entities to provide services that facilitate arrival procedures and enhance the quality of reception.

During the visit, he reviewed the pilgrim journey through the crossing, starting from entry procedures, passing through reception and guidance services, and ending with the organization of transportation movement, ensuring smooth procedures and swift completion, reflecting the level of care provided to pilgrims from the moment of their arrival.

The minister stressed that preparations to receive pilgrims at Jadidat Arar Border Crossing come within an integrated ecosystem aimed at facilitating the pilgrim journey from arrival through coordination among relevant entities, the use of technological solutions, and improving field performance efficiency, enabling pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and tranquility.

This tour is part of ongoing field visits to monitor preparations at border crossings to receive pilgrims, under the support and directives of the wise leadership, in line with the objectives of the Pilgrim Experience Program under Saudi Vision 2030, to enhance the quality of services provided to pilgrims and enrich their faith journey.
