The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah yesterday issued electronic visas for Umrah, as part of its efforts to enable more Muslims to come to the Kingdom to perform Umrah and visit rituals, and facilitate the procedures for their arrival there, in addition to raising the quality of services provided to them, in order to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The Ministry explained that submitting applications for issuing an electronic visa through the Nusuk platform: https://www.nusuk.sa/ar/about, provided that the date of their arrival is starting from the first of Muharram 1445 AH, is useful because the Nusuk platform is distinguished by facilitating the procedures for the arrival of all Muslims from all parts of the world. The world to Mecca and Medina, and providing a choice of housing, accommodation, and transportation services, in addition to a package of enriching information and interactive maps in several languages, in simple steps, around the clock.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah previously announced, in cooperation with the relevant authorities, that those who have a visit visa for the purpose of tourism and are residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and those who have visas to enter the Schengen countries, the United States of America, and the United Kingdom, can book appointments to perform Umrah. And visit the honorable kindergarten via the Nusk application, before they come to the Kingdom.
Hajj and Umrah also continues to provide facilities for holders of all types of visas, such as family visas for residents within the Kingdom, personal visas for Saudis, electronic tourism visas, and visas for visits, by allowing them to perform Umrah and visitation rituals through the Nusk application.
These facilities provided by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to the guests of God are part of a package of development legislation that it has recently worked on, including: reducing the insurance amount for pilgrims by 63% while maintaining the sustainability of distinguished health services for them, issuing an Umrah visa in less than 24 hours, and extending a visa. Umrah lasts from 30 days to 90 days, in addition to the absence of health requirements, as well as the absence of a mahram requirement for women, in addition to enabling the pilgrims to move comfortably within the Kingdom, to learn about the unique cultural diversity, and to enrich and deepen their religious and cultural experience.
