Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him -, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, will open tomorrow the Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition 2024, which is organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in partnership with the Guest Service Program. Al-Rahman - one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and continues for 4 days, during the period from January 8 - 11 in the Jeddah Superdome.
His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, explained that the conference will provide many qualitative opportunities for the business sector that enrich the experience of the guests of God, as those interested in the Hajj and Umrah sector from within the Kingdom and more than 80 countries around the world will meet. To learn about the distinguished initiatives, products, services and projects, and to invest in innovative solutions and technologies that reflect the development witnessed by the Hajj and Umrah sector in the Kingdom.
He stressed that the facilities provided by the Kingdom’s government aim to improve the experiences of the pilgrims, Umrah pilgrims and visitors by providing services to those coming from all over the world, by launching innovative services and technologies that contribute to facilitating the performance of rituals and raising the quality of the services provided.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is joining forces with the Guests of God Service Program to launch this year’s edition under the slogan “The Path to Hajj”, to enhance readiness to face challenges and exchange experiences, as a number of Their Excellencies ministers, ambassadors and officials from various government agencies in the Hajj and Umrah system participate, in addition to reviewing... The largest gathering of innovators, entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises, large companies and the non-profit sector, to exchange experiences, discuss innovative ideas, and establish partnerships in various sectors that will contribute to improving the pilgrims’ journey and enriching their experience.
His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, is participating in the ministerial dialogue session, with a number of His Excellencies, namely: His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eng. Walid Al-Khuraiji, His Excellency the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, and His Excellency the Secretary of the Holy Capital, Mr. Musaed Al-Daoud, to talk about the efforts. Provided by the Kingdom to improve the services provided to the guests of God.
On a related level and in a special meeting, His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah speaks in a dialogue session with a number of speakers about the Ministry’s role in supporting entrepreneurship and small and medium enterprises. To provide high quality services to the guests of God.
The conference is full of a number of sessions and workshops to discuss topics such as future visions for developing cities and holy sites, preserving the rights of the guests of God, integration with the Hajj and Umrah system, and other sessions and workshops.
The conference will contribute to providing many competitive opportunities for the business sector, in order to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, by encouraging leadership and innovation, and highlighting the urgent need to stimulate cooperation between sectors and activities related to serving the guests of God, to find solutions to future challenges in this sector, in light of the technical transformation that is taking place. The Kingdom is experiencing, and the global trends to adopt artificial intelligence solutions, which have become an urgent requirement.
More than 200 exhibitors will also participate in the exhibition accompanying the conference, ranging from government agencies, the private sector of all categories, the non-profit sector, entrepreneurs and innovators, and it is expected that the number of visitors to the exhibition this year will exceed more than 100,000 visitors.
