Today, the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, the General Authority for Endowments, and the Prince Miteb bin Abdulaziz Al Saud National Foundation signed an agreement to establish a portfolio of projects in the amount of (100) million riyals. To support and develop the field of watering in the Two Holy Mosques, in the presence of the Governor of the Medina Region, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, and the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Chairman of the Council of the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, at the opening ceremony of the Umrah and Visitation Forum held at the King Salman Convention and Exhibition Center. in Almadinah Almonawarah.
The agreement was signed by the CEO of the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Engineer Ghazi Al-Shahrani, the Governor of the General Authority for Endowments, Imad Al-Kharashi, and the Secretary-General of the Prince Miteb bin Abdulaziz National Foundation, Dr. Salem Al Khazem.
The agreement comes within the framework of efforts to develop infrastructure and improve services provided to pilgrims and visitors, and embodies the commitment of the concerned authorities to enhance the experience of pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims from the Kingdom.
